Fifty sites, one SDS program.

Plants, substations, treatment works, and field depots each hold their own chemistry — treatment chemicals, fuels, lubricants, gases. SDS HQ runs one catalog with per-site scope, so every location sees its own sheets and the program sees everything.

What you’re managing

  • Distributed facilities — the same access duty at every plant, depot, and remote station.
  • Treatment chemistry — chlorine compounds, corrosion inhibitors, water treatment blends with real hazards.
  • Lean site staffing — no EHS desk on site; access must be self-service.
The rule

OSHA HazCom, 29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(9) where employees travel between workplaces during a shift, SDSs may be kept at the primary workplace — if employees can immediately obtain the information in an emergency. Electronic access is how that’s met in practice.
