Terms of Service

The plain-language agreement between you and SDS HQ. Questions about anything here: info@sdshq.com.

DraftWorking draft pending review by counsel — not yet in force.
1. The service
SDS HQ — the operator of this service and the party to this agreement — hosts, distributes, and helps you author Safety Data Sheets. The service is provided as described on this site and in your plan; features marked as upcoming are not promises of delivery dates.
2. Accounts and seats
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping credentials confidential. Viewer access requires no account and is free on every plan; managed and authoring seats are limited by your plan.
3. Your content
Sheets, documents, and data you upload remain yours. You grant us the license needed to store, display, and distribute them as you direct — to your portal, your QR codes, your exports — and nothing more. You can export and delete your content at any time.
4. Acceptable use
  • Don't upload content you don't have the right to distribute.
  • Don't use the service to misrepresent the hazards of a chemical.
  • Don't probe, disrupt, or overload the service.
5. SDS accuracy and responsibility
Authoring tools produce classifications from the data you provide, under the methods described in our methodology. You are responsible for the accuracy of your input data and for review of every sheet you publish. SDS HQ is a tool, not a substitute for a competent person under your hazard-communication program.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually per the schedule of rates, through our payments partner Paddle.com acting as merchant of record. Annual plans are priced at ten months. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which Paddle collects at checkout where applicable. Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, SDS HQ disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders before they take effect. You may stop using the service at any time; export tools remain available for 30 days after cancellation.
